Export models and templates

Export a selected inventory model or template records efficiently

Before you begin

Role required: sn_ni_core.inventory_admin

About this task

When you export a model or template by downloading a copy of it for offline reference. You can share the model or template with your team or migrate it to another instance.

Note: When exporting a model or template with parent-child relationships, only the parent and its children are included. Siblings aren't exported.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Workspaces > Network Inventory Workspace.

  2. Select the list icon (

  1. Go to any model or inventory template.

  2. Select a desired record.

  3. Select the options icon (

Options icon\) and select **Export**.

  1. On the Export window, select the desired file type to export the data.

    You can export the file in the following formats:

    • Excel
    • CSV
    • JSON
    • PDF
    • On the Export window, select the desired delivery type.

    You can select the following formats:

    • Download
    • Email
    • Select Export.
