Action or dismiss a savings opportunity
Convert a savings opportunity into a pipeline project, or dismiss it with a reason.
When a savings opportunity is created, it has an Open status by default. After reviewing the opportunity in the Now Assist Panel, the opportunity moves to one of two outcomes:
- Closed: The user accepts the opportunity. A pipeline project is created from the opportunity and linked to it, moving it into the sourcing pipeline for execution.
- Dismissed: The user rejects the opportunity and provides a reason. The card is removed from the Potential savings opportunities page and the dismissal reason is saved on the opportunity record.
Note: After an opportunity is closed or dismissed, the action is not reversible.
- Review a savings opportunity and create a pipeline project
Open a savings opportunity discovered by the Savings Opportunity Discovery agentic workflow and create a pipeline project that tracks the savings. - Dismiss a savings opportunity
Reject a savings opportunity that you do not intend to pursue, recording who dismissed it, when, and why so it stays on record for auditing.
