Customize the appearance of a survey
As an assessment and survey administrator, set properties to customize the color of various elements on the questionnaires.
Before you begin
Role required: survey_admin or admin
About this task
For color properties, enter either an HTML color name or hexadecimal (hex) value. For hex values, the # character is required. Values aren't case-sensitive.
For example, if all the following formats are valid: LightGray, lightgray, and #D3D3D3, a preview of the color appears next to the field.
The customizations that you make apply to all assessments and surveys.
Procedure
Navigate to either of the following modules.
- Assessments > Admin > Assessment Properties
- Survey > Administration > Properties For a description of the properties, see .
On the Properties page, edit the properties as needed.
Refer to the following screenshot to see which parts of the assessment questionnaires are controlled by the properties.
Note: You can customize the Caption font color, Caption background color, and Question header background color only if Next Experience is turned off.

Click Save.
Clear the browser's cache to see updates.
