Create a custom Password Reset verification

Use a verification type in the base system as a template to design a custom verification. The Password Reset Windows Application does not support custom verifications.

Before you begin

Role required: password_reset_admin

Review the verification types that are provided in the base system to determine whether to create a custom verification type. Then review the verification type components to develop. For more information about verification types in the base system, see Verification types in the base system.

Procedure

1. Navigate to All > Password Reset > Verifications.

2. Click New, enter a unique and meaningful Name and Description, and then fill in the form.

   For information about the fields on the Password Reset Verification form, see Password Reset Verification form.

3. Click Submit.

   Note: Each verification type has properties that control the user experience. Review the property settings and update as needed.
