Create discovery schedules

Create discovery schedules for discovering IP address ranges.

Before you begin

Dependencies and requirements: The Discovery (com.snc.discovery) plugin must be activated to view the Discovery schedule gap widget in the CMDB Coverage dashboard. The admin user role is required for plugin activation.

Role required: sn_cmdb_admin

Procedure

1. Use one of the following methods to open the CMDB Coverage dashboard:

   • Navigate to Workspaces > Service Graph Workspace > Governance, and then select CMDB Coverage Dashboard from the Manage group in Management tools.
   • Navigate to Workspaces > CMDB Workspace > Quick links > CMDB Coverage Dashboard.
   • Select Discovery schedule gap.

2. Select Create discovery schedule.

3. On the Discovery Admin Workspace, create a discovery schedule as required.
