View, reassign, and edit remediation tasks assigned to you with the Vulnerability Response Mobile app

View, assign, or edit the fields on remediation tasks records that are assigned to you. Navigate through records and related lists to view solutions, deployment metrics, and items to address.

Before you begin

Role required: Remediation owner (sn_vul.remediation_owner)

About this task

Reassign or edit records assigned to you. View the details of active remediation tasks records, Vulnerable Items (VI) records, Vulnerabilities, and Solutions prior to editing, assignment or remediation. Time to complete this task: 5-10 minutes.

Procedure

  1. If you are not logged in to your ServiceNow AI Platform instance on your mobile device, for more information see Log in to the Vulnerability Response Mobile app.

  2. With the Vulnerability Response landing screen displayed, tap Assigned to Me.

    If you navigate away from the Vulnerability Response Mobile app after you have logged in, tap the Now Agent app at any time to return to the last screen you had displayed.

  1. Refer to Search for remediation tasks with the Vulnerability Response Mobile app to search for records that match specific criteria.

Filtering records on screens in the mobile app works like filtering with a condition builder on the ServiceNow AI Platform.
  1. To reassign or edit the record directly from the list, with the Assigned to Me screen displayed, swipe left on a record to open the menu.

To reassign the task to another assignment group:1. Tap Assignment group. 2. Tap a group from the list that is displayed or enter text in the search field. To assign or reassign the RT to a member of an assignment group:

  1. Tap Assigned to.
  2. Tap a name from the list that is displayed or enter text in the search field. Tap the send icon (

Edit
  1. Tap Edit.
  2. Expand the fields and select an option from the list that is displayed or enter text.
  3. Tap the send icon (

  1. Alternatively, to view the details of an open record and to see more associated records and related lists, with the Assigned to Me screen displayed, tap a record on the list.

  2. On the open remediation task record that is displayed, choose one option from the following table to the view work notes or the related lists.

Top menu icon.\) on the upper right of the screen to view the available options. The options that are displayed in this expanded menu vary. The remediation actions you can take on your vulnerable items vary and depend on the value that is displayed in the State field of the record. For more information about the State field and your remediation options, see <a href="../vulnerabillity-states/">Vulnerability Response remediation task and vulnerable item states</a>.
Activity Stream tabWith the Activity Stream tab selected, choose one to continue.- View the audit trail of work notes, activities, and additional comments of the record. Tap the plus icon \(

Related Lists tabWith the Related List tab selected, view the related lists of the record that are populated. - Tap Change Requests. View a list of the change requests that are associated with this record. - Tap Vulnerable Items. Tap a Vulnerable item (VI) record and navigate to the preferred solution record. Refer to the figure that follows the table for a navigation map and more details. - When displayed, tap the menu icon (

To log, tap Logout.
