Create Case Reports

Create a case report from the Reports module in Threat Intel Library.

Create a case report using generative AI or preconfigured templates.

Case reports use the context from a Case. When you create a case report, you select a case, and the report editor is limited to the field values and related records of that case. Only published templates are available for selection.

Access to a case report is restricted to the users and groups that have permission to access the associated case.

User roles

  • Threat analyst — Generates and reviews case reports.

  • Administrator — Configures and activates TISC Report Authoring skill in the Now Assist Admin console. Configures Report templates.

  • Create a Case Report using generative AI
    Use generative AI to draft a structured case report from the data in the selected case, then review and publish it.

  • Create a Case Report using a template
    Generate a case report from a published report template, such as a post-investigation report or an executive summary, and then preview, publish, and share it.
