Verify upload status
Verify whether the vulnerability integration run was successful, partially successful, or a failure.
Before you begin
Role required: sn_vul.app_pen_tester
Procedure
Navigate to All > Manual AVIT Ingestion > Upload File History.
Review Upload status: In the Application Vulnerability Integration Push Queues table, examine the Created column for the upload timestamp and the State column for the upload status.
Verify Success: In the Notes field, view the success massage to ensure all the records were processed successfully.
Error Handling (Failed/Partial Success)
- For uploads with a "Failed" or "Partial Success" state, an error log file is generated.
- Admin users can view this file to understand the reasons for upload failure.
- Users with the app_pen_tester role can view the Push Queue records and their associated error details.
- The error log file contains only the findings that failed processing, providing specific information for correction and re-ingestion.
Re-ingestion Guidelines:
Re-ingesting successfully processed findings will create duplicate records.
- To avoid duplicates, only re-ingest findings listed in the error log file.
