Create a List Module

Create custom lists for the All menu using the Next Experience All Menu Editing.

About this task

Use list modules to provide quick access to pre-filled data, eliminating the need for your users to manually navigate and create their own list filters. This improves productivity by reducing clicks and ensuring everyone sees consistent, standardized views of records.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to All.

  2. Select the Edit application icon.

  1. Select + in the menu header.

  1. Add a list module by hovering over the module and selecting Add.

  2. Select the list module in the Modules pane.

  3. In the form, fill in the fields.

    FieldUser input
    NameEnter a name for the list.
    RolesSelect which roles can access the application menu. If no roles are set, all users can see the menu when it's active.
    Override app menu rolesModule roles override application roles when selected, displaying the module even if application menu roles wouldn't normally enable it.
    TableSelect the table that you want to display in the list module.
    ViewSelect the type of view that you want the list to display.
    HintEnter a tooltip that describes the module when hovered over.
  4. Select Done.

  5. Select Filter in the top bar.

  6. Enter or select the value you want to filter for in the list.

  7. Select Apply.

  8. Select Open module in the top bar to preview the list.
