Using Opportunity Management

Use the Opportunity Management application to create and manage opportunities, schedule meetings, and track related activities.

The Opportunity Management interface has tabs that help you create and manage your opportunities.

Opportunity Management tabDescription
DetailsAdd details of the opportunity such as account, sales cycle, and stage information.
CatalogUse the product catalog to add line items to the opportunity.
NeedsAdd more accurate information about your customer's business requirements to the opportunity.
Line ItemsAdd opportunity line items.
CompetitorsAdd competitors information to your opportunity.
TasksCreate opportunity tasks.
TeamCreate opportunity team members.
ContactsCreate opportunity associated contacts.
EmailsCreate emails to send to the required stakeholders.
QuotesCreate quotes directly from the Opportunity.
MeetingsSchedule and view client meetings linked to the opportunity. When you schedule a meeting from an opportunity, the system automatically associates the meeting with that opportunity. The tab also displays meetings linked to the opportunity's touchpoints.
Related Channel PartnersAdd authorized service organizations or partner entities \(for example, referral or influencer partners\) linked to a customer opportunity. Related channel partners can be: - Authorized organization: Full permissions to access, view, edit, or modify opportunity details - Listed organization: Only for tracking purpose. No permissions to view, access, edit, or delete opportunity details
