Configuring the Territory

Create territories to optimize the assignment of a territory to CRM data. Map these territories to the territory model and levels to maintain the hierarchy. Provide conditions for automated assignments, and onboard members with role-based access in a territory for restricted permissions.

Before you begin

Role required: sales territory admin, sales territory manager

Procedure

  1. Navigate to All > Sales Territory Management > Territory.

  2. Select  New.

  3. On the form, fill in the fields:

FieldsDescription
NameName of the territory.
DescriptionShort description of the territory.

LevelThe associated Territory Level.
ParentName of the parent territory to create the territory hierarchy. If no parent territory is specified, this territory will serve as the highest-level \(parent\) territory.
