Applying a process step filter on an activity

Process step filtering enables you to get closer views of the different routes that records go through.

Use process step filters to filter records for executed workflows that transition through specified activities. This helps you investigate corresponding values more closely.

Tip: Process Mining analyzes completed, non-active workflow items. However, you may find that your data consists of incomplete records that were active at the time the data was mined. In addition to selecting a date-relevant condition such as 'Closed on' when defining a project, use the Transitions filter to remove incomplete records.

You can apply a transition filter in two ways:

• By creating a specific condition manually

• By applying transition filter on a pre-defined filter

• Create a process step filter manually
  Create a process step filter to meet your needs and apply it to view the result on the process graph.

• Edit a process step filter
  Edit a process step filter if you want to make any changes to it.
• Apply process step filter on a pre-defined filter
  Apply a process step filter on a selected node or connection.
