Tested devices and supported versions for ServiceNow mobile apps

Use the following information to verify that your mobile devices and operating systems are ready to use ServiceNow mobile apps.

Operating system version support

ServiceNow supports the latest two versions of Apple iOS, and the latest four versions of Google Android. ServiceNow reserves the right to further re-evaluate support based on OS capabilities and the product development roadmap.

Note:

The latest mobile apps are backward compatible and can be connected to any instance version. However, the mobile apps are not forward compatible. For example, the 8.x client should only be used in New York and earlier instances. Avoid experience issues or crashes by following these maximum instance version guidelines.

Beginning with ServiceNow® mobile app version 20.4.0, the ServiceNow platform no longer supports the Intel® x86 and Intel® x86_64 architectures for Android devices.

Mobile tested devices

ServiceNow® mobile apps have been officially tested on the following devices, although additional devices might work as well. ServiceNow® mobile apps require the Madrid release of ServiceNow or later.

  • The minimum recommended RAM for Android devices is 8GB.
