Enable or disable impersonation in mobile apps

Learn how to enable or disable impersonation in your ServiceNow mobile apps.

Before you begin

Role required: admin or impersonator

Note: An impersonator is a user who can impersonate all users except those with an admin role.

Procedure

  1. In your ServiceNow mobile app, tap the Settings (

**Note:** If you do not see a **Settings** tab, tap **More** \(

More icon\) and then tap **Settings** from the list.
  1. In the settings screen, tap the user card.

  1. At the bottom on the screen, tap Impersonate user.

  1. Select a user to impersonate in the Select User list.

You are now impersonating the selected user. A banner appears at the top of the screen to indicate which user you are impersonating.
  1. To end impersonation, return to the settings screen, tap the user card, and tap End Impersonation.
