Access Mobile Card Builder within Mobile App Builder

Access Mobile Card Builder without leaving Mobile App Builder. By selecting Open in Mobile Card Builder, you can create and edit personalized cards and card templates without needing to open a new browser tab.

Before you begin

Role required: admin or delegated developer

About this task

When using Mobile App Builder, you can access the Mobile Card Builder to edit cards and card templates using the graphical interface.

Note: If the record that you’re trying to open has unsaved changes in Mobile App Builder, then you can’t open the record in Mobile Card Builder.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to All > System Mobile > Mobile App Builder.

  2. Access the Mobile Card Builder within the Mobile App Builder in one of the following ways.

  1. From the home page, select a scoped application from the Application scopes area.
  2. Select Cards and icons from the configuration tree.
  3. Create a card, card template, or icon by selecting New, and then select Continue.

The Mobile App Builder configuration panel opens.

The card or icon option that you selected is displayed.

  1. Customize your card or icon by selecting the Open in Mobile Card Builder button.
