Close multiple incidents from list

Close multiple incidents from the incident list simultaneously that can have the same resolution code.

Before you begin

Role required: itil, list_updater, sn_incident_write, or admin

Procedure

  1. Select the check box beside each incident that you want to close.

  2. Right-click on any list column header and select Update Selected.

Update selected UI action

  1. Set the value of State to Closed.

  2. In the Resolution Information section, select a Resolution code and enter your notes in Resolution notes.

  3. Click Update.

    The changes apply to all the selected records.
