Terminate a process on your device

Terminate a process on your device to boost performance and free up valuable resources for smoother operation.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_dex.engineer or sn_dex.admin

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Workspaces > Service Operations Workspace.

  2. In the primary navigation pane, select the Devices icon (

  1. Select the device for which you want to terminate a process.

  2. Select Running processes.

  3. In the contextual side panel, select the Action library icon (

  1. In the End process card, select Start.

  2. Select the End process card that shows the process state as New.

  3. In the Get user approval card, select I received approval to trigger this action, then select Submit.

  4. In the Process ID (PID) field, enter the corresponding ID obtained from the PID column.

  5. Select Submit.

Result

The process is terminated.

What to do next

In the contextual side panel, select the Playbook icon (

Playbook icon\) to access the current action of the device and to review the action execution history of the device.
