DEX guided setup

Install and configure required plugins to start monitoring and administering your organization's devices using Digital End-User Experience guided setup.

After installing DEX, use the DEX guided setup experience to install and configure the associated plugins.

In the primary navigation pane, select the DEX Administration icon (

\) and access-guided setup through the following cards:

  • Agent deployment on Windows devices

    Install Agent Client Collector for DEX on Windows.

  • Agent deployment on macOS devices

    Install Agent Client Collector for DEX on macOS.

  • Deploy browser extension

    Enable DEX browser extension.

  • Desktop Assistant deployment

    Activate Desktop Assistant on the employee's device.

  • Digital End-user Experience Self-service configuration

    Configure the DEX Self-service on your ServiceNow® instance.
