Azure availability sets discovery using patterns

Discovery and Service Mapping Patterns uses the Azure - Availability Set (LP) pattern to discover Azure availability sets during horizontal discovery. Discovering some of these resources may require updating to the latest version of the Discovery and Service Mapping Patterns application from the ServiceNow Store.

Data collected by Discovery during horizontal discovery

Discovery populates the data in the CMDB when running the Azure - Availability Set (LP) pattern.

FieldDescription
Object ID [object_id]​A unique identifier, allocated by Microsoft Azure for this resource.
Name [name]The Name or ID if no Name is specified for the availability zone.
Install Status [install_status]​Resource provisioning status.
