Remove a dependency
Use the planning console to remove a dependency that is no longer necessary.

Role required: it_project_manager
About this task
Removing the dependency also deletes the dependency record in the Planned Task Relationship table.
Procedure
Open the project in the planning console.
Do either of the following.
| On the Gantt chart | - Right-click the relationship and then select Delete Link.
- Double-click the relationship and then select Delete on the Planned Task Relationship form that appears.

| On the WBS list | - Delete the value in the Predecessor column.
- Select the value in the Predecessor column and then select Delete on the Planned Task Relationship form that appears.
