In the Repair flow, an asset manager requests the repair of defective assets in the stockroom. An asset technician troubleshoots, repairs, and evaluates the asset. As an asset manager, you can get the defective hardware assets in your stockroom repaired by creating repair orders.
Repair order fulfillment in the Hardware Asset Workspace
Repair order fulfillment tracks the resolution of defective and out-of-warranty hardware assets. Repair asset tasks associated with each repair order line must be completed before an order is fulfilled. Orders can be completed manually or through the Help repair hardware assets agentic workflow.
Record time worked on asset repair tasks in the Hardware Asset Workspace
Manage and record time worked on Troubleshoot asset, Repair asset, and Evaluate asset tasks in the Hardware Asset Workspace. After you start work on a repair asset task, you can pause and resume work. You can also record the time worked manually.
