Use the GetLength component
Count the number of characters including spaces and special characters in a string by using the GetLength component in RPA Desktop Design Studio.

About this task
You can configure the properties for the GetLength component. For more information about these properties, see Properties of the String Utilities components.
Procedure
In the Toolbox pane, navigate to Utilities > String Utilities.
Drag the GetLength component to the Design surface.
To configure the input fields, see Configure port properties.
Connect the data and control ports of the GetLength component to the corresponding ports of the other components as described in the following table.
