Configure data products

You can plan and configure a Data Products implementation in your organization.

  • Install data products store application
    You can install the Data Products application (sn_data_product) if you have the admin role. The application include installs related ServiceNow® Store applications and plugins if they are not already installed.
  • Assign roles to data product users
    Assign roles to control access to features, capabilities, and data in data products.
  • Prerequisites and setup
    Before creating data interfaces and data products, confirm that the required plugin is activated, roles are assigned, and external data sources are connected.
