Activate the entity filters

Activate the entity filters directly from the form by adding the Active check box to the layout. This field is hidden by default. Follow the steps in this section to make it visible.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_oper_res.manager

Procedure

  1. Select and hold (or right-click) on the page header in the Entity Filter record and select Configure > Form Layout.

If you see the option to try the Form Builder, you can select **Not now**.

You can select **Edit this section** in the "Configuring Entity Filter" form so that the picker list is displayed.

  1. Select Edit this section in the "Configuring Entity Filter" form so that the picker list is displayed.

    The Edit this section option is shown in the example.

The picker list for configuring the Entity Type form is displayed.
  1. From the "Available" selection list on the left, select Active and use the right arrow to shift it to the "Selected" list.

  1. Select Save.

    On the Entity Filter page, a check box with the Active label is displayed.

  2. To activate the Entity filter, select the Active check box.

Once this change is made for one entity filter, all the other records within the Entity filters list have the Active option set to **True** by default.
  1. Test the filter using the Update entities from filter button after adding or modifying the filter.

    This action updates the entities in the Entities tab based on the filters configured on the Filters tab.
