Managing presence privacy settings
Manage whether employees can view your in-office presence by selecting your privacy settings.
If you set your presence to private, your routine is hidden from other employees, and you aren’t displayed as a collaborator on the Presence dashboard calendar.

Procedure
Navigate to the Presence dashboard.
For more information, see the steps mentioned here.
On the Presence dashboard, open the Add Routine window by selecting Manage your settings.
Note: If you’re visiting the dashboard for the first time, select Get Started.
In the Privacy settings section, select one of the following options based on your preference.
- Public mode: Other employees can see your routine on the Presence dashboard and Collaborators section.
- Private mode: Other employees can’t see your routine. The selected privacy option is automatically saved.

Before you begin
An admin must opt in to Employee Profile. For more information, see Opt in to the employee profile.
Role required: sn_wsd_core.workplace_user
Procedure
Navigate to All > Self-Service > Employee Center.
On the Employee Center home page, select your profile, then select Preferences.
In the Presence user preferences section, from the Presence privacy list, select either of the following options.
- Public mode: Other employees can see your routine on the Presence dashboard and Collaborators section.
- Private mode: Other employees can’t see your routine.
