Manage scenarios using Space Planning

Create, copy, or delete space planning scenarios.

Before you begin

To manage scenarios, verify that the following plugins are installed:

  • Workplace Core
  • Workplace Space Management
  • Indoor Mapping (for map-based administration)
  • Workplace Case Management
  • Workplace Central
  • Workplace Service Delivery components

Role required: sn_wsd_spcmgmt.space_planner, sn_wsd_spcmgmt.scenario_reader (read only; to view a scenario)

Procedure

  1. Navigate to All > Workplace Central > Workplace Central.

  2. On the side navigation, select the Space Planning module.

    The Space Planning workspace opens with the Floor plan tab selected by default.

  3. Select the Scenarios tab.

    The list of scenarios opens with details like their name, location, group by value, state, and owner.

  4. Manage the scenarios based on your requirement.

Create a scenario
  1. On the Scenarios list, select Create Scenario.
  2. On the Create new scenario form, fill in the fields.

  1. Select Save scenario.

The new scenario is created in the Processing state and takes some time to move to the Draft state. You can’t open a scenario that is in the Processing state.

  1. Select the Refresh icon

    to check if your scenario has moved to the <strong>Draft</strong> state.</li>

View or edit a scenarioSelect a scenario to view information like the floor details and space KPIs.
