Create a Talent Development Core featured growth item
Use the Featured Growth Items table to define the roles, skills, and opportunities that appear in the Featured by your company widget. This widget can be used to promote desirable career opportunities and skills that foster growth and development for employees within your organization.
Before you begin
Role required: sn_egd_shared_lib.admin
Procedure
Navigate to All > Talent Development Core > Administration > Featured Growth Items.
Select New.
Use the Type field to specify the feature growth item you want to promote.
Feature growth item Description Job Title A role you want to promote to employees within your organization. Skill A skill you want to promote that is beneficial to the growth and development of your employees. Opportunity An opportunity you want to promote for career advancement. The form displays new fields that are specific to the option you selected in the Type field.
Set the corresponding fields that appear on the form depending on the option you selected in the Type field.

| Role level | The title for the role you want promote as a feature growth item.This field only appears when the Type field is set to Job Title. |
| Skill | A critical skill you want to promote as a feature growth item that your employees can acquire.This field only appears when the Type field is set to Skill. |
| Skill level | The level of expertise required for the skill that you selected in the Skill field.This field only appears when the Type field is set to Skill. |
| Opportunity type | An opportunity you want to promote as a feature growth item to employees within your organization.This field only appears when the Type field is set to Opportunity. |
| Job requisition | A job requisition number to identify the job role that you want to promote.This field only appears when the Opportunity type field is set to Internal Job. |
Add an image for the opportunity that you want to promote by selecting the Click to add... link in the Image field.
The Image field only appears when the Type field is set to Opportunity.
Indicate the order in which the feature growth item appears by entering a numeric value in the Order field.
Make your featured growth item available to employees within your organization by selecting the check box associated with the Active field.
Specify the employee groups to whom the feature growth item is available by using the User criteria field.
Enter a description in the Description field to provide further details about the role, skill, or opportunity you want to promote.
Select Submit.
Result
The feature growth item that you defined appears in the Featured by your company widget for the employees you specified in the User criteria field.
The Featured by your company widget appears on the Aspirations landing page.
Important: Only job titles and skills that you define using the Featured Growth Items table will appear in the Featured by your company widget on the Aspirations landing page. The opportunities that you define will appear in the Featured by your company widget on the Opportunity Marketplace landing page.
