Use Opportunity Marketplace

Employees in your company use Opportunity Marketplace to find opportunities, apply for roles in the opportunity, and track the application process. Some employees create and publish opportunities to gather and evaluate resources for gigs, projects, and volunteer opportunities.

To access and use Opportunity Marketplace, you must be a licensed Opportunity Marketplace user. For more information, see License Talent Development Core users.

Access to opportunities is controlled by user criteria defined in the opportunity. Only opportunities for which you match the user criteria are visible.

• Share an internal job opportunity
  Share internal job opportunities with your coworkers.
• Update Job Preferences
  Make updates to your job preferences to help you apply for opportunities. Your job preferences are used by Opportunity Marketplace to do a match analysis with roles.
• Create opportunities in Opportunity Marketplace
  Opportunity owners create gigs, projects, and volunteer opportunities. Opportunity details for Project type opportunities can be imported from projects in the ServiceNow Project Workspace. These opportunities are different from internal jobs. OPM enables you to manage any opportunities you create and track applications. The ability to create opportunities is based on user criteria.
• Create opportunities in Opportunity Marketplace by importing projects from Project Workspace
  Import details from a Project Workspace project file to create a related opportunity in Opportunity Marketplace.
• Set opportunity preferences
  Set your preferences for opportunities so that your preferences match any opportunities you’re interested in.
• View an opportunity match analysis
  Opportunity Marketplace (OPM) generates match analyses based on your current role, aspirations, and skills. Match analysis is based on your skills and preferences.
• Sign up (apply) for an opportunity
  Apply for an opportunity from the opportunity details page.
• Manage job postings in Opportunity Marketplace
  Job postings must be created and managed directly in the Job Posting [sn_ta_hiring_core_job_posting] table.
• View job postings in Opportunity Marketplace
  Job postings forms can be viewed from the Job Posting [sn_ta_hiring_core_job_posting] table.
