Legal request record - Details tab
List of fields in the Details tab of a legal request in the Legal Counsel Center.
A legal request record in the Legal Counsel Center contains the complete information about the request. The Details tab contains fields from the legal intake form and other fields required by legal department users.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Number | System-generated number for the legal request. |
| Practice area | Practice area to which the request belongs. |
| Category | Category of the legal request associated with the selected practice area. |
| Subcategory | Subcategory of the legal request associated with the category. |
| Priority | Level of priority to address the legal request. A higher priority means that the assigned user should act on the legal request sooner. |
| Watch list | Users with read-only access who can review the legal request and post additional comments in the request. The list shows all users who have the sn\_legal\_user role. The request fulfiller can add any user from the list or enter the email address of a user who is not in the list. |
| Collaborators | Users added to the request to help the legal fulfiller in resolving the request. The collaborators get full access to the request to work on. Note: The list shows all users who have the request_fulfiller role. |
| Opened | Date the legal request was submitted. |
| Opened by | User who submitted the legal request. |
| Requested for | User for whom the requester submitted the legal request. |
| State | Current state of the legal request. |
| Assignment group | Legal group to which the legal request is assigned. |
| Assignment group permission | Permission level of the legal request for the assignment group members.- No Access: Only the practice area lead and group manager can access the legal request and assign it to one of the members in the assignment group. The assigned user can then work on the legal request. - Read: All members from the assignment group can only view the legal request. This option is the default permission level. - Edit: All members from the assignment group can view and work on the legal request. |
| Assigned to | User from the assignment group to whom the legal request is assigned. |
| Short description | Brief description of the legal request. |
| Work notes | Comments or notes for the internal users of the legal department who have the access to view the legal request. |
| Additional comments | Comments or notes for the requester or users in the Watch list field who have the access to view the request. |
