Review the Legal Invention Disclosure request
Review a Legal Invention Disclosure request and either approve it to be sent for a patent approval or request clarification from the requester.
Before you begin
Role required: sn_lg_ops.legal_fulfiller, sn_lg_ip.patent_fulfiller
Procedure
Navigate to Workspaces > Legal Counsel Center.
Select the List icon (

List icon\) from the primary navigation and in the Legal Requests section of the **Lists** menu, select **All**.

Select the request to open.
Select Assign to me.
Select Start Work.
Review the request.
- If you are satisfied with the information provided, create the related matter. For more information, see Create a matter or add a Legal Invention Disclosure request to an existing matter.
- If you are not satisfied with the information, select Clarification Required, fill in the details about the information needed in the Clarification Required dialog box, and select Submit.
Result
- An email notification is sent to the requester to update the request.
- The State is updated to Assigned.
- The Application status in Legal Counsel Center is updated to Clarification Required.
