Create a content collection

Create a content collection in Learning to dynamically group Learning content that includes multiple internal and external courses.

Before you begin

Every collection must be a part of a course catalog. Create a course catalog before you create a collection. For more information, see Create a course catalog.

Role required: sn_lc.learning_admin, sn_lc.learning_course_catalog_admin

Procedure

1. Navigate to All > Learning > Content > Collection.

2. Select New.

3. On the Collection form, fill in the fields.

   For a description of the field values, see Collection form.

4. Select Submit.

5. Add course items to collection
   After you create a collection, add course items as groupings of courses that are orchestrated within ServiceNow®.

6. Define user access to course within a collection
   Define user access to the collection to define who has read access to the collections.
7. Add learning course sections
   Add learning course sections to collections.
8. Assign topics to a collection
   Add assigned topics to collections.
