Configure a PIP lifecycle event

After a PIP request is initiated by a manager, a structured workflow (a predefined lifecycle event) auto-initiates tasks for a manager, an employee, and an ER agent.

Before you begin

  • Role required: admin
  • Install the Human Resources Scoped App: Employee Relations, and Enterprise Onboarding and Transitions plugins.
  • Activate the HR Taxonomy, and Document Templates applications from ServiceNow Store.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to All > Lifecycle Events > Administration > Manage Lifecycle Events.

  2. Open the Performance Improvement plan (PIP) life cycle event with predefined activity sets and activities.
