3E Protect

3E provides an external API called 3E Protect that integrates with Health and Safety Environmental management to automate chemical safety information retrieval and maintenance.

  3E Protect is an external API service that provides access to a vast database of chemical metadata and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Configure the property for 3E integration
  Configure the property that enables retrieving safety data sheets, SOP’s and other metadata from the 3E database to the chemical library. This property enables users to have the necessary safety information before they use the chemical.
• Configure the application registry for the 3E service provider
  Configure 3E integration with Health and Safety Environmental Management to retrieve current chemical data.
• Configure OAuth authentication for the 3E Protect API
  Configures the 3E Credentials record and obtains the OAuth access token required to authenticate with the 3E Protect API.
• Sync chemical information with the 3E database
  You can sync details of chemicals, such as hazard identification, chemical ingredients, and others, with the 3E database to ensure that current information is accessible.
