Check for updated content in categories
Track and manage the updated content in categories for better visibility, content maintenance, and performance.
Before you begin
Role required: knowledge_admin, taxonomy_admin
User criteria required: Taxonomy Manager.
About this task
The related list Check for updated content in categories is available only when you do not Enable connected content autosync system property. As the system property automatically adds or removes the content updates, you can't check for individual updates manually.
For manual checking of updates, follow these steps.
Procedure
Navigate to All > Content Taxonomy > Topics.
Select the topic where you want to associate a content category.
Select the Check for updated content in categories related link to see the content that's added or removed.
Associated catalog and kb categories addition and removal updates
Add or dismiss content, as required, with Update topic with content or Dismiss content respectively.
Click OK.
