Research prospects and generate artifacts with the AI assistant

Use the AI assistant to research a prospect, pull internal case studies, and generate a ready-to-send document. Complete these tasks in one conversation with opt-in access to an external large language model.

Before you begin

Before you start, confirm the following:

• Your organization has connected internal sources, such as SharePoint, to the AI assistant.
• Your organization has enabled the opt-in connection to the external large language model.
• Your organization has connected a signing service, such as DocuSign, for document delivery.

About this task

The AI assistant keeps external research, internal proof points, and artifact generation in one cohesive flow. You complete prospect preparation without switching to a separate browser tab. Procedure

1. Enter a research query in the chat bar.

   For example: Prep me for a meeting with Atlas Industrial Group, a manufacturing prospect.

2. When the assistant prompts you, opt in to the external large language model.

   The assistant prompts for opt-in only when internal sources do not contain the industry knowledge that the query needs. The assistant grounds every external insight with citations.

3. Review the themes and citations that the assistant provides.

   Examples of themes for a manufacturing prospect include workforce pressure, supply chain volatility, and operational efficiency.

4. Ask the assistant for internal proof points in the same conversation.

   For example: Find manufacturing case studies. The assistant retrieves relevant internal case studies from connected sources such as SharePoint.

5. Ask the assistant to generate a ready-to-send document.

   For example: Send an NDA to Bob before the meeting. The assistant generates a custom document that the assistant populates with the contact information and relevant details.

6. Confirm the send.

   The assistant prompts for confirmation before the document goes out through DocuSign.

Result

You complete external research, internal discovery, and artifact generation in one conversation. The connected signing service sends the generated document to the recipient.
