Stay connected and informed on company updates, events, announcements, and more with the help of the AI Agent in the Employee Center Now Assist in Virtual Agent.

About this task

Check your local or company news at any time. Search for the upcoming events or know details of a specific event. The AI Agent provides you with the latest news and announcements. It responds to both general and vague questions.

The agent displays news based on your location and your interests. It displays your nearby events, local news stories, news about relevant people and also any topic of your interest.

Before you begin

You can also perform the following steps in Now Assist in Virtual Agent for Microsoft Teams You can check your company's latest news and events similarly.

Role required: none

Note: You can check the company news and events using the Virtual agent only if your company has enabled the configuration.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to All > Self-Service > Employee Center.

  2. Select Open chat.

    Now Assist in Virtual Agent appears.

  3. Enter your query.

    • To check the latest news or know about any particular news, enter your query like What's the latest news, show me the company news, show me news on 401k, `` or anything.
    • To check about upcoming events or any specific event, enter your query like Are there any events, show me the events happening in New York this month, show me all the company events or anything.

  1. Search for a specific event to get more details.

    If the event requires RSVP, select Yes or No. If you have already specified your RSVP, you can also edit it.
