Check in at a walk-up location

As a store representative, you can enable customers to check in on arrival at your service location. The user is added to the requester queue after filling in some details and a reason for the visit.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_walkup.walkup_login

About this task

A device at the store location runs the Walk-up application. The application welcome screen includes selections to check in for a service, view the list of requesters currently in the queue, and complete a survey. Both guest users and registered users can access the selections on the welcome screen.

Procedure

  1. Select Check-in from the Walk-up application screen.

  2. Add details in the Check-in screen.

If the system already has a contact or a consumer with the same details, it associates the interaction with that particular contact or consumer in the system.
