Configure branding for your self-configured bot
Configure your self-configured Slack app's branding. You have the flexibility to customize the default ServiceNow branding for the Slack self-configured bot name and icon.
Before you begin
Ensure that you have completed integrating Virtual Agent with a Self-configured bot in Slack before customizing the branding options.
Role required: admin
Procedure
Log in to the Slack admin center.
Select Your apps and select a bot from for which you want to change the branding settings.
Navigate to Settings > Basic Information > Display Information.
In the Display Information section, you can update the following details:
App name: Name of your Self-configured bot.
Short description: A short sentence describing your Self-configured bot.
App icon & Preview: Image representing your Self-configured bot on the conversation body.
Note: Ensure that the image you would like to upload as the app icon is in squares between 512 px by 512 px and 2000 px by 2000 px.
Background color: Background color of your bot icon while on the conversation body.
Long description: Description of your Self-configured bot to show on your App Detail page.
Select Save Changes.
